Johnnie Walker Blue Label The Casks Edition

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Casks Edition is a bold and robust special release for the duty free market. Bottled at 55.8% it's bursting with flavours! It's an intense blend of some of the rarest whiskies from Johnnie Walker with its signature smooth finish and lingering taste.

The casks were hand picked by Jim Beveridge the master blender of Johnnie Walker.

He comments, “Only one in ten thousand of our casks have sufficient character for Blue Label and in creating this special edition we really wanted to showcase the incredible flavours that come from the casks themselves"

On the nose there is plenty of oak and a little smoke in the background. All so hints of vanilla, butterscotch and citrus.

It's deep color of coppery gold.

The overall impression is intense yet mellow. With its signature Johnnie Walker Smoothness. If you find the 55.8% a bit to strong just add a dash of water to dilute the whisky, it all so opens up more flavours on the palate.

Each bottle is numbered and specially hand signed by Jim Beveridge.

Overall it's an amazing blend of whisky and if you can get your hands on a bottle I strongly recommend tasting it and sharing with close friends.

Cheers!
